Justina: The Beginning

A few weeks ago, I started freaking out. Mainly because I need 400 internship hours to graduate, I'm a junior and I've completed zero. So I applied to my hometown paper, emailed a few radio stations and got no response.

For once in my Italian life, I got lucky and landed an internship with Liberty in America as their media coordinator. I got even luckier when one of my best friends got the other internship, and it meant that we get to spend the summer together...on a 40-foot bus while touring the country.

People around campus really seem to like saying: "You're spending the summer living with a bunch of strangers and a guy?! Uh-oh..."

Ever seen Star Wars? Luke and Leia? Yeah, that's Luke and I to a T, and I'd never have it any other way. Kevin (the boyfriend/Han Solo) understands, so it's cool.

We leave in six days. Six. Actually, more like five and a half and there's so much to do. Computers and cameras and clothes and packing, but I probably should be focusing on the final paper that's due on Tuesday first...but I'm just so damn excited.

And you should be, too. Because starting in five and a half days, you're going to be reading the funniest blog the interweb has ever seen. :)
